Plaza Tire Service has been a trusted name in the industry since 1963, with numerous locations across several states. We currently have an opening for a Automotive Service Associate . This role involves performing essential automotive services such as oil changes, tire and wheel maintenance, and light vehicle upkeep, as well as assisting with customer transportation and maintaining shop cleanliness. COMPENSATION: Up to $40,000 per year Benefits:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation.
  • Perform oil changes and other basic automotive services.
  • Utilize the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to accurately document vehicle conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Drive vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Transport customers and pick up parts and supplies from vendors as needed.
  • Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable) ethically and in accordance with company and state guidelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and report any concerns to the direct supervisor.
  • Be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends as required. Other duties may be assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • A general understanding of automotive systems is preferred.
  • Must possess a current, valid Driver's license.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands: The Automotive Service Associate will encounter moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, and other materials. The work environment may experience varying temperatures, including extreme heat or cold. Use of safety goggles or other personal protective equipment may be necessary. The Automotive Service Associate must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
  • Stand for up to eight hours per day and walk to access various areas of the facility.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle, or manipulate objects frequently.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and shop personnel.
  • Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and focus.
