Job Summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our 5 West medical/surgical unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to manage complex patient cases, including respiratory diseases and infectious diseases.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
  • 1+ year of experience as an RN, with pediatric experience preferred.
  • BSN or ADN degree, with current American Heart Association CPR and PALS certification.
