Job Summary

As a Medical Surgical Nurse at Dignity Health, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift, utilizing keen assessment skills and critical thinking to prioritize patient needs.

• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.

• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging, to provide holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• A Medical Surgical Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of California.

• BLS required for all areas.

• 1 year acute care experience.

• LA City Fire Safety (within 90 days from date of hire).
