Job Title: Sanitation, Warehouse 1st Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation, Warehouse 1st Shift professional to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related tasks in warehouse facilities, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.
  • May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
  • Shift is Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm.
  • Pay Rate: $16.50/hour.
  • Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Report all unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure the safety of all associates.
  • Perform cleaning duties as assigned, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
  • Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
  • May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
  • Complete all assignments and tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Pallet jack experience.
