Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating all project field activities in the safest manner possible, providing effective and meaningful supervision of assigned craft personnel, and ensuring the work performed with the highest degree of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project field activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Supervise assigned craft personnel to ensure effective and meaningful supervision
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Manage labor efficiency, labor rate, and manloading to maintain project budgets
  • Prepare and submit daily time and other project-related reports
  • Provide input for shop drawings and markups with ongoing field activities
  • Ensure all work is performed in a quality manner
Requirements:
  • Current Maine State Journeyman or Master's license
  • Position also requires a current driver's license and a clean driving record
  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • A minimum of 6 years' electrical project construction experience in related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team leader with strong interpersonal and site management skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and applicable computer programs
