Job Description

The Clinical Administrator role at NavitsPartners involves overseeing the administrative and patient care processes within our department. This includes managing registration, insurance verification, and updating financial and demographic information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner.
  • Answer phones promptly and direct calls appropriately.
  • Collect and distribute patient referral information from physicians.
  • Escort patients and visitors to the appropriate areas and provide assistance as needed.
  • Register patients by entering or updating their demographic and financial information in our system.
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient details through interviews with patients or their family members.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and supporting documents.
  • Assist in processing lab specimens and ensure proper labeling and form completion.
  • Schedule clinic appointments and obtain patient signatures for consent.
  • Mainatin a clean and functional environment and assist with patient transport as needed.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 months of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and use judgment in various situations.
  • Proficiency in English for oral and written communication.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000, based on industry standards and location in NYC, NY 10003.
