Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, focusing on community needs and health promotion.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through formal and informal mechanisms, using data to inform future improvements.
  • Recommend new courses or program enhancements based on patient feedback and educational evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records related to educational programs.
  • Assist with miscellaneous community programs and projects, leveraging your expertise to drive positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of three years hospital clinical experience
  • Minimum of one year recent teaching experience in a hospital setting
