Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Englewood, OH

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy to students, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs). While experience in a school setting is preferred, Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of services provided.
  • Attend IEP meetings and help set educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required for CF applicants.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
