Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP

The Joshua School is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a part-time capacity.
We are a Colorado Department of Education approved facility school, partnering closely with local school districts to provide intensive services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Disabilities.
Our holistic approach has achieved superior results through structured environments, behavioral intervention, data collection, and celebration of our students.

Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student literacy and social engagement within the school environment.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to develop student-specific recommendations that promote independence in accessing the learning environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings, and develop individual plans to improve student literacy and social communication skills.
- Develop speech and language-based intervention plans based on student needs and evaluation results.
- Use Behavior Skills Training to coach Lead Teachers, Instructional Assistants, family members, and other team members to implement speech and language recommendations and strategies.
Requirements:
- Three years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis and evidence-based practices for children with autism spectrum disorder.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Colorado Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and ability to supervise SLPAs.
