Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Newport, Kentucky.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services as ordered by the attending physician, including exercises, massage, heat, and water therapy.
  • Assess patient conditions and notify the Physical Therapist of any changes or concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to improve patient functional status and minimize risk.
  • Counsel patients and families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
  • Document all clinical activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend in-service training and mandatory agency meetings.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a PTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Ability to meet all physical demands of the job.
