Job Description

At Enjet Aero, LLC, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing organization. In this role, you will work to improve existing procedures and processes within our system and collaborate with team members to build new quality controls, tests, and verifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspections.
  • Develop and submit FAIRs to internal and external customers.
  • Analyze statistical data obtained from manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, review, and analyze Gage R&R studies to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to a team environment by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Pratt & Whitney experience is preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of print reading, ANSI-Y-14.5, AS9102 completion.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, PPAP, and working knowledge of GD&T.
  • AS9100 quality standards experience.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desired.
  • Familiarity with Special Processes such as Heat Treating, Shot Peening, and NDT experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to present reports throughout all levels of an organization and various levels of customer organizations.
