Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring precise start-up and commissioning of systems, diagnosing installation challenges, and providing support to both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage controls databases, develop graphics, and program sequences as instructed.
  • Oversee system start-up, commissioning, and point-to-point verification.
  • Assist installation teams and offer support to other contractors on-site.
  • Identify and troubleshoot installation challenges, providing solutions for operational issues.
  • Contribute to estimation, design, installation, and training related to building systems.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure timely backups of software.
  • Deliver service support for existing installations and systems.
  • Help prepare as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
  • Support the Sales team during the estimation phase and potential demonstrations.
  • Travel to project sites as needed for start-up, commissioning, and assistance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, MS Office Suite, and networking.
  • Experience in programming and troubleshooting electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC operations within facilities.
  • Experience with DDC or specialized systems for building control is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Tridium, Alerton, and Distech systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods on construction sites.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physically capable of kneeling, stooping, and crawling.
