About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team at Gallagher. As a key member of our Claims Adjuster team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex general liability, bodily injury, and litigation claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and evaluate claims to determine liability and extent of damages
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, risk management, and legal, to ensure seamless claims handling
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims adjusting or a related field
  • Active adjusters' licenses in all states where claims are being handled
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in claims management software and systems
