Job Title: UX Researcher, Mixed Methods

We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to join our team at Meta. As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods to gain deeper insights into how people interact with our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics and design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes.
  • Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, advocating for the people who could use our products.
  • Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods, including surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and 1:1 interviews.
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing to generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics, or another related field with 4+ years' of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field and 2+ years' relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field and relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience within user experience, applied research settings, and/or product research and development.
  • Experience conducting In-Depth Interviews or Focus Groups and Concept Testing or Usability Testing.
  • Experience coding with R, SQL, STATA, SPSS, or equivalent.
  • Experience applying statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, Anova, and T-Tests.
  • Interest in and experience executing hands-on, primary research.
  • Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
  • Degrees in a human behavior-related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.

Compensation:

$99,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
