Job Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

THERAPY 2000, a leading provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Galleria Area/77057.

This position is part of our South Houston division, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas, as well as an innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.

You will be responsible for performing comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy, and developing and implementing relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.

You will also be required to develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers, act as a vital member of your patients' medical neighborhoods, and collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines.

Additionally, you will need to complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency, meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed, and meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.

Bonus points for 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, experience in a home-health setting, experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties, and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills.
