Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

TX-STAR Speech Language Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch speech and language therapy services to students ranging from preschool through high school.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans for students with speech and language impairments.
  • Provide direct therapy in school settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and other related disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement comprehensive support strategies for students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
