We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at Mava Healthcare Systems, LLC. As a Medical Director Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological exams and testing, diagnosing and treating psychological disorders, and assisting patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medicine.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Prescribe psychotherapeutic medication and adjust prescription according to patients response
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan, including all medication information
  • Consult with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care is provided
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest professional developments and research
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited US-based medical school
  • Must Hold Active State License and Active DEA
  • Current medical license and certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS)
  • Deep knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Excellent observational and assessment skills
