Job Summary: Pacific Life is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our network infrastructure, ensuring its performance, reliability, and security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities of network engineers and technicians, developing operational strategies, and collaborating with other departments to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Operations: Oversee the full scope of operations and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets organizational needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, ensuring the network is always available and secure.
  • Security Measures: Implement network security measures to protect data and resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement network operations policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and best practices across the organization.
  • Upgrade Planning: Plan and manage network upgrades and expansions, staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in network management.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular network security audits and assessments.
  • Team Leadership: Attract, retain, and develop top talent, providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to engineering professionals, fostering collaboration and driving value.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years leading a network operations team in an enterprise environment.
  • Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in engineering, implementing, and supporting global networks, with advanced technical skills in Splunk, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Wireshark, ClearPass, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
  • Education: B.S/MS in Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: One or more of the following certifications: CCNP, CCIE.
