Job Overview

The Robotics Automation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of automated systems. This position involves providing expert technical assistance and troubleshooting for advanced robotic systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis, debugging, design, and programming of automation software to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop, test, and implement software enhancements on existing automation systems, aiming to boost operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system modifications and provide training to onsite teams as necessary.
  • Assist in safety validations of equipment, uphold a tidy work environment, and contribute to the security measures of the facility.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with computer network protocols and programming languages in an industrial automation context.
  • Familiarity with programming automation components, HMIs, and material handling robots is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact SQL, PLC programming languages, .NET Framework, Visual Basic, and safety systems.
  • Strong networking skills, particularly in TCP/IP, and experience with servo motor integration in industrial settings.
