Job Title: Member Services Consultant III

Foothill Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Member Services Consultant III to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service while providing advanced consultative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced knowledge of various financial services, including opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts, and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems.
  • Open new accounts through Meridian, comply with eligibility requirements, and maintain compliance.
  • Handle member account and card fraud claims, complete payroll deductions and authorization forms, and process loan applications when available.
  • Cross-sell and refer other products such as mortgages and Foothill Investment Services.
  • Process Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) and provide Notary Public Services.
  • Assist team members as required and provide whatever assistance is needed by members entering the branch.
  • Enthusiastically lead team by example to achieve key branch and organizational goals.
  • Assist in training new team members and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years in personal banking, preferably within credit union operations, working in such departments as New Accounts, IRAs, Lending, ATM, etc.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the following regulations and statutes.
Desired Certifications:
  • NMLS License.
  • IRA Certified.
  • Notary.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining detailed, accurate records.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • A valid California Class C Driver's License, a method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions, and at least minimum automobile insurance coverage as required by the State of California.

Salary Range: $22.00 to $34.37 per hour
