Advanced Practice Medical Professional

Physicians East, P.A. is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Primary Care.
This is a full-time opportunity that requires a licensed PA-C or NP with a strong background in delivering high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with consults and daily visits, seeing follow-up patients in clinic.
- Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients, reviewing records and integrating data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Establish presumptive diagnoses, order laboratory and diagnostic procedures, and perform independent evaluations and treatment.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications, preparing written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances.
- Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation, providing monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
- Participate in required meetings, committees, and professional development activities, maintaining professional affiliations.
- Licensed as a PA-C or NP in the state of North Carolina and DEA license.
- Ability to work independently, with strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills.
- At least one year of post-graduate experience as a provider in a related setting, with experience and knowledge of EMR systems, voice dictation, and strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
