We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Advanced Practice Professional to join our well-established cardiology practice in Greenville, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with physicians, and contributing to the development of our cardiovascular services.

Job Overview:
  • Fully employed by ECU Health Physicians - Community Practice Model
  • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center
  • Opportunity to work with an established team of 12 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Primary clinical responsibilities will be in Greenville, NC with occasional outreach coverage throughout the region

The estimated weekly hours are 40 hours per week, with a daytime-only schedule and rotating weekend coverage. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will rotate through hospital and clinic coverage with weekend coverage every 4th week (extra shift pay for weekend shifts).

Your responsibilities will include consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing patients for procedures, providing care for new and established patients, assisting with stress tests, and EKG interpretation. Our referral network spans 29 counties, serving over 1.4 million residents.

American Heart Association BLS certification is required. We offer excellent compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular services. Our six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower features clinical space, diagnostic services, and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room.

We have 120 beds available for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health and well-being of our community.
