Job Summary

Germanna Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a clinical adjunct professor, you will be responsible for delivering restorative dental services and providing clinical oversight to students assisting in the Dental Assisting I and II programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver restorative dental services to patients
  • Provide clinical oversight to students assisting in the Dental Assisting I and II programs
  • Supervise dental hygiene students and examine and treat patients for comprehensive dental care
  • Meet with students to discuss their progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum

Requirements

  • Doctorate of Dental Science or Dental Medicine Doctorate from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a DDS in the state of Virginia
  • Two years of teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with online teaching
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a community college setting
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
