Job Summary

STGi is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients and perform various clinical tasks under the supervision of licensed healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Active certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
  • One year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
Working Conditions

  • Stand for long periods, walk, and move quickly to respond to emergencies.
  • Occasionally lift, push, or carry patients or equipment up to 30 pounds.
