Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel in all aspects of corporate practice.
- Assist attorneys with litigation support services, including gathering and organizing documents, preparing pleadings, and maintaining case files.
- Communicate with counsel regarding case developments to update litigation logs and maintain accurate litigation reserves data.
- Conduct research on regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; prepare summaries and analyses for attorneys.
- Prepare and manage documents related to corporate policies, contracts, resolutions, and other legal documents.
- Draft and review contracts, including confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, and employment agreements; assist in contract negotiation processes.
- Collaborate with other members of the Legal team on special projects, initiatives, and corporate transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and legal matters.
- Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining legal databases, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and assisting in compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field; paralegal certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures related to corporate law, litigation, and contract management.
- Proficiency in legal research techniques and databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal software applications.
