About the Role

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of 10-14 phlebotomists on the evening or night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shift activities, ensuring quality and compliance standards, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for patient and departmental needs.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate shift activities, acting as a primary point of contact for phlebotomists.
  • Training & Development: Mentor and train staff on procedures, protocols, and best practices, and assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Patient Care Oversight: Monitor and support phlebotomists in providing excellent patient care, ensuring high standards in specimen collection and handling.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment, and coordinate with facilities to ensure all tools are functional and compliant with safety standards.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide feedback to support staff in professional growth and development.

Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
