Job Description:
The ICU Nurse will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, rehabilitation, and wound care needs. As a key member of our patient care team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care, taking into account the patient's age and specific needs
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other patient care team members
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on best practices and industry developments
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an ICU environment
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Two or more years of acute care experience or rehabilitation as a registered nurse
- Current provider CPR certification
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment
