We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned
  • Take nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs
  • Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
  • Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients
  • Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
