Job Summary:

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse RN Med Surg. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, and to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
