Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging systems
- Execute regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Identify and resolve mechanical problems
- Support the installation and testing of new equipment
- Work alongside the production team to enhance machinery efficiency
- Adhere to health and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery
- Experience with vertical form, fill, and seal machinery
- Knowledge of canning operations and processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and health regulations
Physical Requirements:
The Packaging Equipment Technician should be capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving for prolonged periods, with the capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience.
