Maintenance Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve in Mountain City, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance as needed
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling
  • Assist in training other maintenance personnel and production associates
  • Ensure job functions maintain or improve product quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment
  • Complete work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
Additional Requirements:
  • Work well in a team environment and accomplish projects in a timely basis with acceptable workmanship
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required
