Responsibilities:

Your Role Includes: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans.
  • Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment strategies, participating in team meetings, and engaging in family discussions.
  • Completing discharge assessments, providing recommendations for home and community safety, and offering educational resources.
  • Communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family members.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure coordinated care and improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification as per state regulations.
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to assist in the movement, lifting, or transferring of patients, which may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety protocols.
  • Physical requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • A health screening or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policies and regulations.
