Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to type at least 50 words per minute, possess flexibility in working hours, and exhibit dependability along with professional customer service skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and calculators is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries via phone, fax, and email regarding customer concerns
- Process pickup requests
- Input rate requests on behalf of clients
- Investigate discrepancies such as overages, shortages, and damages to ascertain causes and responsibilities to prevent future incidents
- Facilitate reimbursement for customers regarding freight damage or loss through the claims process
- Execute additional work-related tasks as assigned
