Position Overview:

We are looking for a Trust & Estate Paralegal or legal assistant with at least 5 years of expertise in estate planning and administration.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Perform legal research related to trusts and estates
  • Compose legal correspondence and various estate administration documents
  • Aid in managing estates by organizing assets, addressing debts, and distributing assets to beneficiaries
  • Liaise with clients and other parties involved in the estate administration process
  • Maintain precise records and files pertinent to estate planning
  • Prepare and file pleadings in probate matters

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trust and estate paralegal
  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning and administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant legal software
  • Familiarity with surrogate court processes and litigation
