Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

Responsibilities:

* Provide treatment modalities to outpatient and extended observation clients
* Assess, triage, and provide stabilizing treatment for individuals with mild to acute psychiatric disorders
* Observe, chart, and monitor patient symptoms and behaviors
* Administer PRN medications
* Utilize de-escalation techniques to facilitate compliance with medication and treatment goals

Requirements:

* Must have NYS RN License
* Bachelor (BSN) degree required
* Current BLS & ACLS
* Minimum 1-2 years Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Mental health experience preferred

Salary: $50.08/hr. - 51.64/hr. Plus Differentials
