We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our HR team at Five Star Breaktime Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Process all garnishments and withholding required by law.
- Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
- Prior experience in payroll software and a high degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
