Parking Cashier Job Description

At SP Plus Corporation, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences in the parking industry. As a Parking Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Operate a cash register and handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Count and reconcile cash and bank revenue at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Collect and process payments from customers, making change as needed.
  • Assist customers with directions and provide information about parking services and facilities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or cash handling preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
