Position Overview
The business security analyst/IT analyst plays a crucial role within the governance team, tasked with the essential duty of ensuring application adherence to security standards while keeping technologies up to date. The ideal candidate will assess and pinpoint security vulnerabilities, collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to validate findings, and contribute to the sustainability model for ongoing compliance. This position demands a meticulous professional with robust analytical abilities and a profound understanding of security standards and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Review and Analysis: Execute comprehensive evaluations of applications to uncover security vulnerabilities and compliance challenges. Partner with application teams to confirm findings and devise a compliance strategy.
Compliance Monitoring: Engage in regular reviews to guarantee continuous application compliance. Utilize ServiceNow for centralized and decentralized application compliance checks, the IAM Analytics Portal (NT BI tool), and risk treatment.
Documentation: Compile detailed reports and documentation of compliance assessments and security vulnerabilities. Ensure all findings are thoroughly documented and communicated effectively, preparing compliance reports with appropriate evidence for risk and regulatory bodies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Governance, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve identified issues. Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of governance processes and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to bolster compliance and security measures.
The potential compensation for this role is determined by local labor market conditions, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge, and experience of the candidate. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $135,000. Additionally, the role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and supplementary compensation offerings, including a comprehensive range of medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and various paid and unpaid leave options, along with potential incentive or variable compensation.
