About the Role: The RISC team is dedicated to safeguarding Amazon customers from products that are illegal, improperly marketed, unsafe, or otherwise violate Amazon policies. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with corporate legal teams, business units, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product management, as well as data science and engineering teams to implement impactful compliance solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Function as a non-technical solution architect, devising strategies and establishing effective controls to ensure product compliance within Amazon's US marketplace.
- Support the development of new tools and initiatives that bolster the store's global compliance objectives.
- Influence team behavior, coordinate projects with legal and business partners, and motivate cross-functional teams to adhere to Amazon's quality standards while maintaining compliance with restricted product operations.
- Monitor and report on daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to management and corporate reporting systems.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate compliance program requirements and relevant federal and state regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments on existing processes and new product assortments, recommending suitable risk mitigation strategies to corporate compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in leveraging technology and implementing lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SQL.
