Electrical Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Unavailable. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and reviewing the performance of professional and/or technical staff performing engineering work related to the design of control electronics for motion control products.
This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in electro-mechanical testing methods, data collection and analysis, and equipment used in testing. The ideal candidate will also have experience with embedded C for motor control, knowledge of feedback devices for motor control, and proficiency with MATLAB and SIMULINK applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
- Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.
- Perform extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved.
- Conduct research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.
- Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years experience.
- Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree.
- Discipline/Major: Electrical Engineering or other Engineering degree required.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and Written Communication, Analytical Thinking, Circuit Design, Computer Simulation, Design Optimization, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Modeling, Programming, Prototyping, Reliability Analysis, Requirements Engineering/Analysis, Research and Development, Schematic Capture, Electro-Mechanical Components/Instruments, CAD Software, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
- Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
The salary range for this position is $82,005-$152,295. Hired applicants may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k plan and are eligible for the Non-Contributory Retirement Contribution.
Additional InformationEmployees will receive 11 paid holidays and 120 hours of PTO annually and up to 3 weeks paid family leave.
