Cyber Operations Analyst

We are in search of Cyber Operations Analysts (COAs) to fulfill various positions that bolster essential Intelligence Community (IC) missions through our Advanced Analyst initiative. The security of our nation increasingly relies on technology, and this reliance is escalating at a rapid pace. As a cybersecurity expert within the intelligence sector, you will collaborate with a team on the frontlines against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your knowledge of adversarial networks, defensive measures, and cyber operational capabilities to formulate exploitation strategies and implement operational modifications as required.
- Collaborate with a diverse team, including government, military, and contractor personnel, to cultivate a mutual understanding of intelligence requirements, mission significance, and specialized areas of expertise.
- Develop hypotheses, critically evaluate and select analytical methods, and then query, integrate, enhance, assess, and navigate through data to derive and disseminate insights.
- Document, contextualize, and communicate your findings, including any innovative techniques you create, to teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in computer or information systems design, development, or analysis is required.
- Experience may also encompass hardware and/or software engineering, programming, cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, digital forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
- Completion of military training in a pertinent field, such as the Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC), will be considered towards the experience/education requirement.
- In certain instances, proficiency in foreign languages may fulfill experience prerequisites; recent Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scores are necessary to validate your proficiency level.
- Security Clearance Required:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Minimum Educational Requirement:
- Technical Degree (additional experience, military training, or certifications may substitute for degree)
- Minimum Years of Experience:
- 10 years with an Associate's Degree
- 8 years with a Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years with a Master's Degree
- 4 years with a Doctorate Degree
Preferred Educational Background:
- A degree in Computer Science is preferred. Degrees in related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if they include a concentration of courses in foundational CS areas such as algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics.

The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $162,500. This range represents the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations. Individual compensation within this range is determined by work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
