Our work depends on an Army Information Security Analyst Senior joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the PacificHOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Ensures the cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and appropriate operational security posture is maintained and documented for the MTC USARPAC Type Training Enclaves and USARPAC Training Exercise NetworkProvide guidance and support for Exercise cybersecurity planning and ATO attainment, process monitoring and auditingFollows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39, as well as following guidance from other cyber agencies in USARPAC CSPMO, NETCOM, and CYBERCOM Implements and maintains standard operating procedures, implementing DoD, Army and USARPAC JMSC-IP Type policies and proceduresConducts scheduled SCANs of the training enclaves and systemsValidates applied STIGs and patches performed by the SAs and NAs. Updates and documents STIGs in response to vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits and inspections Create required RMF products such as plans of action and milestones (POA&M) and STIG checklistPerforms continuous monitoring of applied STIGs and patchesConducts periodic auditing to assess vulnerabilities of the network and systemsProduces artifacts and trackers, as well as other documents to meet the Security Control Assessment – Validation (SCA-V) requirement to maintain the USARPAC Type ATOMaintains and updates records and artifacts into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system to support and comply with the RMF processAssures successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate IT policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals Participates in special projects as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: BS/BA in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or related field with concentration in computer based technologyRequired Experience: 5+ years of related work experience; Advanced knowledge of both information technology and business issuesRequired Technical Skills: Technical expertise in Information Systems Security; Advanced knowledge and practical application of eMASS; Advanced knowledge of the RMF process and STIG applicationsSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI is requiredRequired Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on information systems security; Strong understanding of SCA-V processes and inspection preparationLocation: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoRUS Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
