About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Center team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical center setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and take appropriate action
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements

Requirements
  • A current state RN license and associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Two years of nursing experience, with a preference for experience in a surgical center setting
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
