Manufacturing Engineer Internship Opportunity

ITW Medical is a leading provider of innovative medical solutions, and we are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team.

Position Summary:

This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, working closely with our experienced team to drive improvements in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support validation efforts for new manufacturing equipment and engineering projects for capacity improvement in our high-growth Filtration and Infusion segments.
  • Participate in the MRD visual management process and implement a kanban system to drive improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for scrap reduction and downtime improvements.
  • Implement visual management on new Check Valve cells and assist in new product development and modifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (3rd or 4th year).
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
