Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Dietary Aide to join our team at Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation and service to residents, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and eating areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Compliance and Quality: Follow direction in regards to compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures, and regulations, ensuring that all food service meets the highest quality standards.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate a team player attitude, willing to help out wherever necessary, and be flexible in your work schedule to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.
Requirements
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination is required for all employees.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Work Experience: Prior work experience with food preparation is a plus.
  • Caregiving Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
