Overview

Banfield Pet Hospital is a leader in pet health care and we are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our hospital, providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Job Summary

The Hospital Service Coordinator is responsible for delivering superior client care and maximizing the productivity of our veterinary medical team. You will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care for their pets.

Responsibilities

  • Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services
  • Route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team
  • Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient hospital operations
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times
  • Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services
  • Assist incoming and outgoing clients with necessary documentation and information
  • Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures
  • Conduct administrative functions as necessary

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a strong understanding of pet health care and be able to provide exceptional customer service.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
