Ultrasound Supervisor: Full-Time Hospital Position

Job Summary:The Ultrasound Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the ultrasound department, ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities:- Supervise staff and coordinate workflow to ensure efficient operation of the ultrasound department
- Maintain high-quality patient care standards and adhere to safety protocols
- Recruit, select, and train new employees while developing existing staff members through personal growth opportunities
- Implement quality and customer service standards to provide exceptional patient experiences
- Develop and maintain schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work performance to optimize productivity and efficiency
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a US Technologist required
- Two (2) years of experience as a Sonographer Supervisor and acute care experience preferred
- Current RDMS license required
- Breast and Vascular registry preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
