About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Facilities Technician - Maintenance to join our team at VFIP. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in facilities maintenance and a passion for ensuring the optimal functioning of buildings.

Your primary responsibilities will include completing work orders and tasks related to HVAC repairs and maintenance, evaporative cooler repairs and maintenance, plumbing, electrical, drywall repairs, painting, and other property/facility maintenance as necessary.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  2. Collaborate with tenants, building managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  3. Estimate time and extent of repairs, using technical knowledge and expertise to inform decision-making.
  4. Perform routine preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure.
  5. Maintain an organized inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring that necessary resources are available when needed.
  6. Supervise work performed by outside contractors, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in commercial real estate property maintenance is highly desirable, but we also provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
  • A broad understanding of various trades (HVAC, Evaporative coolers, plumbing, electrical, drywall/paint repairs) is preferred.
  • Current HVAC Certification is a significant advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with operation of maintenance tools, including lifts, is essential.
  • The ability to handle physical workload and work in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Candidates must possess a clean AZ Driver License and own a reliable work vehicle; mileage reimbursement is provided.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
