Position Overview
SAIC is actively seeking a Personnel Management Specialist with a robust background in military personnel operations to enhance the U.S. Space Forces' mission of delivering critical capabilities through the Space Systems Command's Space Domain Awareness weapon system portfolios. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational readiness of our defense initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive personnel management support across various employee categories, including Military and Government Civilian personnel.
• Document and oversee Government processes for diverse personnel management actions at the Division level, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Ensure that leadership is informed and consistent in applying relevant standards, instructions, and policies regarding personnel actions.
• Assist with Executive Assistant responsibilities as required.
• Collaborate with Government organizations to establish effective workflows and communication channels for personnel-related matters.
Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in personnel management within the Department of Defense (an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree).
• Must possess an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility, and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program, if applicable.
• Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, including consent to a Polygraph examination.
Preferred Skills:
• Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., management, human resources).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
• Experience with classified information systems (e.g., SIPRnet, JWICS).
Compensation: Target salary range is $120,001 - $160,000, reflecting typical compensation based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; however, customer site vaccination requirements must be adhered to when work is performed at a customer site.
