Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technical operations, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our imaging services and driving positive change in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners with precision and attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and high-quality image acquisition.
  • Order and manage supplies, clean equipment, and prepare scan rooms to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the relevant department for prompt resolution.
  • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment effectively, including PACS and other software systems.
  • Lead image post-processing, ensuring all steps are complete and images are transferred to PACS accurately.
  • Train new technologists in all aspects of the role, including patient safety, room preparation, and effective communication.
Requirements
  • A strong foundation in MRI imaging and patient safety.
  • Licensure with the appropriate board (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent) depending on the location.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • At least 5 years of clinical work experience in MRI or radiologic technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
